A number of readers have asked me to start providing updates on the current yields of the stocks in my Dividend portfolio. That’s a good idea: The big rally in dividend paying stocks in 2016 has had a serious impact on yields with many once high-yielding stocks appreciating in price until their yields are now just middle of the pack. While I try to figure out a way to post a current yield on the portfolio page, I’ll start posting monthly updates. The yields below are for the September 2 close on the 12 stocks in this portfolio.
