It’s not exactly a confirmation of President Donald Trump’s announcement that the Part 1 trade deal would be signed between the United States and China at the White House on January 15. But China has scheduled a high-level trade delegation for  travel to Washington from January 13 through 15. And the delegation will include China’s top negotiator Vice Premier Liu He.
The news comes from unidentified sources rather than from the Ministry of Commerce, which has not so far officially confirmed a date for the delegation’s trip.
But we do seem to be inching toward a signing of a Part 1 deal to resolve some of the U.S.-China trade war.
