And from today:

So with all that being said, if the worst case scenario plays out and developed economies start to default, or look like they maybe, maaaaybe in danger of doing do, what do we do?

It seems like that’s a process that could take many years to play out, but in the mean time where are we?
When Dubai world started talking about “freezing” debt to work out a repayment schedule the markets around the world dropped like a rock, including gold.
I don’t remember anything being sparred, including the developing world stocks (Like brazil)
I would think in the long term it would cause a continued devaluation of the Pound the Dollar and many other currencies.
But would it ultimately spark an even bigger boom in the BRIS and other economies that don’t have such a great dept ratio?
Is the rush to invest in BRIC economies just the start of the long term investing story of the next decade?
Is gold destined to keep moving up?
Pimco said that they were investigating building out an equities fund, where is that money going? Certainly not the US, or UK, or Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark etc…
