Interesting. I think events of the last decade reflect well on contrarian indicators. I sold most of my positions not related to BRIC markets or Win7 deployment last week.

I just had a thought…if interest rates are rising going forward maybe a tradeoff might be a preferred etf like pff or pgf…they own 60-90 preferreds… the yields are over 8%..I’d think they wouldnt be affected by increasing rates as much as a straight bond…I guess thats why they call em hybrids..just a thought and it might be a good addition to your dividend income portfolio to add some diversification away from energy..
