It's largely targeted at the spider's nests of bad wiring in data center server farms, which exist only when a company has built large farms of PC/Intel/AMD class servers, not larger ones, e.g. IBM machines. In that sense it's neither competitive per se with HPQ nor a hotly contested niche that it is a perverse one that gives them an entry point. On the whole it makes more sense than any headline or analyst report has yet told us.
